Bundle of Joy

A year ago today at 8:22 a.m., I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Andrew Christopher. He spent the day struggling to breathe, and I spent the day unsuccessfully trying not to throw up. It was a rocky start, but when we were finally united almost eight hours after his birth, I looked at him through a percocet induced haze and knew that we were going to be alright. He was perfect.

Andrew's first year has been consistently marked with change for our family, but through it all, his happy, easy-going disposition has been a constant. He is a delight, and we love him dearly. Check out his profile, and you'll love him too.

Favorite color: Green, because Jacob's is red, and Benjy's is blue, and they decided Andrew should like green.

Favorite book: They all taste good, but pop-up books are especially fun to destroy. 

Favorite food: Anything he can smear into his eyebrows.

Favorite game: Peek-a-boo, but he does love a challenging game of Trouble. Or maybe it's just eating the game pegs/sabotaging his brothers' game that he loves.

Favorite sport: Gymnastics.

His motto: It's always a good time to "suit up."

Aspirations: Getting past the bars.

Things he finds challenging: This step in the living room.

Hobbies:  Surfing the web and playing the guitar. 

 

  

Secret to a happy life: Making time for reflection.
