Crossing the Border

When Chris and I were dating, we used to talk of running off to Mexico together. But never in all our dreams, did we ever imagine doing it with three kids in the backseat.

Of course, we never imagined moving to Mexico with the State Department either. At least, I didn't. Who knows what secret ambitions Chris was harboring nine years ago.

I'm thankful that our life has not worked out the way that I would have planned or imagined it. This is so much better.

Today we cross the border into Mexico. Today we begin a new adventure.
